As Head of station, I heartily welcome you to Mutendi High School, a dynamic, pragmatic and spiritually driven institution. Inspired by the visionary leadership of the Zion Christian Church, President and Bishop, Dr. Nehemiah Mutendi, the school continues to grow from a basic Mission school in 1984 to one of the most academic powerhouses of international repute. Our highly experience teaching complement of 48 and support staff of 34, God fearing and diligent personnel are responsible for shepherding a 1 066 student population. Current infrastructural development should see our enrolment rise to 1 500 learners by end of 2019, a projection based on our stakeholders’ appreciation of our Motto, “Righteousness Exalts a nation”, Proverbs 14:34 and Isaiah 54:13, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children.” This has very positively made us a destination of choice for most parents who appreciate the significance of God’s presence in educational endeavours. Judging from our recent academic and infrastructural development, we definitely are an academic institution to reckon with for all practical and conscientious parents who believe that life is a choice than it is a destiny.
